​Meet Judge Newton

​Judge Newton believes that service to the community is the highest and most virtuous calling. He is running for a second term as District Court Judge to continue serving our great community and to ensure that the County Courthouse is a place where equality and justice prevails for all.

Having served two terms on City Council and bringing over fifteen years of trial court experience to the bench, Judge Newton has run an impartial, expedient, and just courtroom.  Fairness and integrity have been the hallmarks of Judge Newton's service and he will continue to be dedicated to those principles in his second term.
